um, this Is the DIY forum

there's Gilmore's balanced output addition to the "dynalo" in the original headwize article

HeadWize - Project: A Pure Class A Dynamic Headphone Amplifier by Kevin Gilmore

the dual fets are hard to find but singles with similar specs that can be hand matched are available (use the beta22 input Qs)

with the point-to-point build and spreading heat over a dozen output Q, avoiding purchased heatsinks, this project can be fairly low $ outlay at the usual exchange of more time

DIY RESOURCES - Kevin Gilmore DYNAMIC HEADPHONE AMPLIFIERS and POWER SUPPLIES gives more "dyna" amp info

for Grado the single ended ouput should be fine - I have pointed to 4-pin "balanced" connection to headphones as a good idea even in single-ended amp

for K701 the balanced output stage doubled Vswing will be useful

Uh, I may have missed something ; Probably did .... but I never saw a place to order the kit for that Gilmore amp, nor pricing.

Also, someone please help me out here, and tell me what exactly an M3 is ???

I've been hearing about the M3 forever now, and still believe it's a BMW automobile ... LOL

You can build pretty much any DIY amp balanced if you want to. Take a look at all the offerings - you'll find threads throughout the DIY Forum on various designs. Then you can balance whatever you like.

JISBOS balanced. <--- I don't need anything more than unity gain, but running the JISBOS gives you a gain of 2.

running from a single 24V supply, split with a floating GND using TLE2426. (keeping the cost down)
