Anybody notice a difference from 16/44 to 24/96?

very VERY subtle difference

I prefer SACD and DVD-A to Red Book. But as others have explained, that difference could be attributed to better recording methods.

Still, hi-rez doesn't hurt anything and a SACD logo is almost a guarantee of a quality recording, so I buy them.

Yep, I hear (with hd. phones) a somewhat of an "extended sound" maybe Fuller sound with 24/96 disc.....But, and I'd like UNCLE ERIKs comments on this, please!!! I still hear my best "recorded playback Tunes" from my Vinyl as my source.......Mind you I haven't upgraded to SACD yet.....I do enjoy my DVD-A sound, but so few titles.....How about XRCDs ????????

I do, I do. Subtle difference, but still a difference...

I'm listening to the 24/96 DVD-A recording of Buena Vista Social Club right now and I'm hard pressed to notice any difference, but I only have Audioengine speakers.
