Guitar Center is selling these right now for 499. Is that a good deal for these cans?

Seems like last time I checked their site they were 799. Have done much reading about these because I wasn't interested in spending 800 on another set of headphones.......yet.

Used pairs typically sell for $400-$450 on head-fi so it's a great deal!

On the other hand, that's pretty much the price it sells for locally here in Hong Kong

How do you like yours compared with your Denon's? Although one is closed and one is open, any brief thoughts?
