You could always go for the ATH-ESW9... now that's a damn fine sexy phone there.

Thanks for the interest. So, is there anyone who auditioned both hd6XX's and hd25's and can compare them? Thanks in advance.

Dude, wearing RX700s outside is a riot. The kind of looks you get for wearing headphones that almost double the width of your head is just hilarious.

I have a feeling that Shure SRH750 DJ may be the best price/performance "portable" headphone out there. Please check it out:

If it indeed sound similar to SRH840, HD25 don't even come close.

This sounds like some kind of a complex, a fear of wearing headphones in public...

Here, the K-240 Studio & Denon AH-D1001 go outside.

Anyway, Denon DJ DN-HP500, -700, 1000 are good-looking (and probably on par with HD-25).

LOL seriously. It was one of the most hilarious experiences I've had. I mean it was even noticeable enough to make the busy tourists of times square all start looking at you. Very entertaining XD.

I hear they have no isolation and are not good with modern music (rock, electronic, hip-hop)

Very intrested but some comments in that thread mention that they'd not be a good portable.

Those look good! Slightly tacky but still better than hd-25. Also I seen the denon ah-d1001 look good before. They'd be my first choice were it not for the very poor isolation.

Anyone have any experience with Phiaton? I'm interested in the whole line but the ps320 in particular.

How much isolation exactly do you need? Might I suggest the PX200-II? They isolate more than I expected(definitely more than my RX700s), and once the music is on then it's really hard to hear anything else. They even isolate well enough with music on the NYC subway. They aren't perhaps uber mega stylish, but they do look nice(especially if you have hair lol), feel very sturdy, and are uber portable(like, they fit in my pocket). I also find them extremely comfortable, others might not find them AS comfortable, but most likely at least comfortable enough. They are also pretty close to being neutrally toned, I'd say. You mightttt find the bass lacking for electronic, but I'd say this is more contingent on your affinity for bass. They can actually provide some impact when needed, and seem to respond well to EQing, though I haven't really tried because I don't like EQing :P They definitely do have nice bass extension though.

Have you considered the K81dj?(not 181) Those aren't too big, and apparently can be modded to bring out the mids and highs a bit more(which aren't so bad in the first place). And have great isolation for an on ear. That's just stuff I've read though.
