While looking for a higher end table I came across a deal for a Dual 1209 for $5. The deck itself is in amazing condition, and it just looks really nice overall. However it has one main problem. It's not turning on. The guy I got it from said there is a "loose power connection". The spot where the molex plug from the ac cord plugs into looks all busted up, it's supposed to have something covering it I guess but I was told it shattered in shipping. Here's a pic of the situation.
I've already tried replacing the molex with another one with tighter grip because the old one barely made any connection and would fall out quite easily. So where do I start?
