I am using the EF-5 as my amp, so I feel I'm getting the sound the designer intended. I just miss the bass of the SA5K... much tighter than the HE-5. I will keep it for a while and see if it grows on me. I do like it with orchestral music, as I find the tonality very accurate. I also agree with the original review that detail resolution is awesome.

If you're referring to the HE-5, I didn't get a recable. The one you see in the images is the stock SPC cable.
