What's the best solid state headphone amp today?

Or what's coming out that's killer. I own a HeadRoom Home amp w/AKG K701's. I might go to Senn HD800's. Burson, Amphora, CI VH2, Headamp GS 1, Red Wine, B22, new Meir Corda about to come out? Not a thing is wrong w/my setup. I have audiophile disease and looking for more. Thanks

When it comes to my experience with most of those amps, the B22 is far and away the better option - and certainly in a 2 channel configuration, can be had for significantly less money than the rest as well!

I havent yet heard the B22 with the HD800, but can imagine the pairing would work well

If you're thinking HD800 --

I'd second abyrvalg -- Phonitor. If spatial balance and frequency reproduction balance are critical for you, then the Phonitor + HD800 has to be it.

Any list of top SS amps ought to also include the Grace m902. With 96kHz lossless tracks via toslink, the HD800 sings.

I haven't heard the B22.

The Beta-22 and the Headamp GS-X would be in high running.

Do Headroom still do the MAX?
