I have no idea about the TTVJ portable but the Ibasso P3+ does a fantastic job with the HD650 and it comes with a PSU in the box to save on those batteries.
Its much cheaper than the TTVJ but I can bet it wont sound very much worse than the TTVJ portable.

The TTVJ both the old (hybrid) and the new slim models can drive HD650s.
I see that you have the TTVJ slim listed in your past amps. Did you like it or not?

Bumping this up to see if any others may agree that a TTVJ Slim can power headphones like the HD6X0, HE500 and others that require some juice. Todd says it can power just about any headphone 0-600 ohm but I'm not so sure if the specs say differently. If anyone has had experience using this amp with a variety of headphones and can give me their impressions I'd appreciate it. It's the only amp I have (absolutely love its sound) and would like to be able to use it with any headphone ideally. The HE500 is what I'm primarily interested in, for a future purchase.
