Sennheiser RS180 initial impressions - Page 2

Never had any interference with my RS180's. Best wireless headphones I have had so far but I feel that are very picky with what equipment you pair them with. My best results so far Have been pairing them with my Bereford TC-7520 and my Squeezebox Duet. Connecting them via audio jacks will not be a problem as this what I do and have happy with the results so far.

Thanks Bazzman. Much appreciated. Am going to test some RS180's today.

I havent had any problems either.

My main use is with the ps3 as a multimedia server for music and movies.

I also play games with the rs180, both ps3 and xbox360 and they are very good for games.

I have to say that I am extremely pleased with my phones. They are the best wireless phones I have had

and I have had no problems at all with them being wireless - on the contrary I love them

and often think about how sweet it is to not have the cable.

I can go into the kitchen and get something to drink or eat while still wearing them

without any loss of audio.

I have never had them clip or distort the audio at all. I havent really went far away from the transiever

because I live in a small place but I do have *alot* of electronics in the same room.

A full fledged hometheater,a PC, 3 game systems and a smaller 5.1 setup.

The sound for games is really good. Playing Gears of war2 is a delight and what I miss most

when not playing it is the sound

I have ordered the RS 180 and wait for them to arrive from Electronic Expo. One hell of a good deal.

I have a question, please. Do you need to hook the RS 180 to an AVR ouput or you just hook then straight to the ouput of the Bluray or DVD player ?  I bought the Rs180 for one purpose is to watch movies late at night without in my media room without creating to much Kaboom to other rooms in the house.

Thought I'd bump this thread.  On a whim (and a sale) I picked up a pair of these just to experiment with wireless.  I've had no issues with interference with them, and they sound quite good to me, right out of the box.  I've got them hooked directly into the analogue stereo outputs on my Oppo BD-95.  Definitely no volume issues.  They're quite lovely. No regrets, unlike the pair of Ultrasone HFI 2400s I bought a few months back!  Definitely not my cup of tea.
