This is pretty interesting. A headphone amp, DAC and ipod dock...question is, does it work like the Wadia? I'm intrigued.

I think Sasaki mentioned this in his blog and noted that it should work as an itransport to convert digital to analog from an ipod.

If this amp is able to get the digital signal out of the Ipod like the iWadia then it would be pretty great. Could somebody please confirm/deny it?

Come to think about it, it might be too good to be true, according to the price.

I'm assuming its a digital dock since it has a DAC?

According to Google's translation of the jp press release, the AT does use the internal DAC for digital from the ipod, or outputs it via digital coax. The specs on this DAC aren't that great though, it could just be using one of the USB dacs from TI for the analog outs, instead of only using the USB dac to output i2s to another, better dac. Also the HP amp is sufficient, but not quite the beast you'd expect from a .5k$ amp.

Peachtree iDecco - it's more than just an ipod dock/dac/headphone amp, though. Here's 6moons' review:
