If that's all I have to complain about the E1, the cable length, which it is, then I don't really have a lot to complain about. Actually, once I received my E1 and realized how happy I was with it, I canceled my VI cable order. Thanks for the input. Probably never would have thought about buying a fiio until you suggested it.

You can always buy a cablewrapper (fishbone?) to shorten the E1. I didn't know about the rebooting though. Do you still feel the need to get the VI cable?
