No it takes the person who clicks on it to their 'edit profile' page. It doesn't take us to your edit profile page, it takes us to our own . He was suggesting that more people should edit their profile to include their location.

same here - i just assume the poster is american unless i see something otherwise. I tag my sales with AUS - they should be able to work out where i am.

location should be whatever plus country. sunny qld I have no idea where it is.

In the sonoran desert?????

SoCal I guess is south california?

I find it amazing that most Australians know all the States in America yet Americans are flat out naming one in Australia.
Maybe this has to do with modern teaching methods,when I went to school Geography was two one hour lessons a week,do they even have it now.

Guess you read wrong then,the subject was about having the Location in the For Sale Thread Title,plus a little WW to let people know it is for sale World Wide.

It's just as convenient, and more helpful in general, to have people post their locations in their profiles instead of only their FS threads.

It has to do with, there are like 300 countries in the world and we cant possibly know every countries states/provinces etc.
Also, alot of people learn about America, because we have alot to do with alot of things in the world.
How many people know states/towns etc in Lebanon? Syria? Nigeria?
Some places i dont even care if i know the area or not.

My location and profile are filled out anyway.
I also didnt know where some of your locations are by what you wrote.
I live in EMO. Thats what alot of people call this place locally, but none of you would know that.

No, I did not read wrong.
Just think it is more convenient that members spend some time filling in their profile properly than posting their location in every of their FS thread.

Anyway!
