Using Ibasso D10 in a media centre a good idea?

my dad is really interested in this and so am i but we both want to know if it is a good choice so guys, tell us! (please)

BTW is this the wrong sub-forum for this? if so i'm really sorry and please tell me where this would belong

I think it is a good idea. If what you are looking for is a an inexpensive DAC/Amp solution, which also doubles to be portable.

great if my dad gets it it will take a while before he gets all the parts and thus i can use it for portable it's a win-win!

If you go with the d10 take it from me. Keep the charge switch on when using it as a dac or the battery will drain for some unknown reason. Always keep it charged all the way or you could experience clipping. No one likes that.
