HIGHLY MOTIVATED TO SELL! ENTERTAINING ALL REASONABLE OFFERS

18 month old MPX3 Slam in perfect working order. I'm the original owner and the unit has probably 1000-2000 hours on it. I use it a couple times a week in the evenings. I'm selling all my home headphone equipment to buy a road bike.

I'll include a Mullard ECC32 and 2 (maybe 4 if I find them) Tung Sol D-Getter tubes with the sale.

Other tubes included: 2x Ken Rad VT231, 2x Raytheon VT231, 2x CV1988 ($500 in brand new tubes)

The unit is HEAVY. Boxed up I think it weighted 25lbs. when Mikhail shipped it. The transformer has never been to hot to touch. I check it every time I run it to make sure. The unit has always been hooked up to a UPS Battery back up. It has never experience any brownouts or blackouts.

I've moved the unit a couple times. From my old house to my new one. From my home now to the Houston Headphone Meet and back. I've always used the box to move it to prevent an cosmetic damage. This is a pristine unit.

I will not open the unit for fear that I won't be able to get it back together correctly. I've done lots of buying and selling on this forum and Overclock.net. I wouldn't want to receive junk so I ensure you that the buyer won't receive junk from me.

Disclamer: This unit has not been checked. Please be aware of what you are getting yourself into before buying this amp. I will gurantee against DOA but anything past that I will not be liable for or gurantee.

Asking $1200 + actual shipping. I'll eat the Paypal fees.

Sorry to interrupt your sale, but I thought it's worth checking: Are you aware that Singlepower amps need to be checked internally by someone suitably competent, as many were constructed such that they may be electrically dangerous, even if they appear to be working perfectly?

Yes, i've read posts where transformers ran to hot to touch etc. then went out. I've also seen high end amps (i.e. much more technical then an MPX3) ship with bogus parts. Personally, I've never had any issues with this amp. I paid special attention to the heat factor when folks started receiving crazy products from Mikhail. It's never ran hot even when left on for many hours at a time. Some of the higher end, upgraded/custom amps from Mikhail have had issues but the standard MPX3 was a stable performer for Mikhail even in all his shortcomings.

This is a standard build from Singlepower. I waited for 3.5 weeks from order to delivery. Anyone who buys this amp will get an amazing product not to mention the many amazing tubes.

If anyone else has any questions or "concerns" about this listing, please send me a PM. Also, if you need references, I have eBay, Audiogon and Overclock.net where I have 100% feedback from over 100 transactions.
