I think the traffic was just a bit of bad luck. Generally, going over the Throgs Neck Bridge on a Saturday morning traffic isn't a problem, especially if it's not during the summer when people flock to the beach.

I can't argue about the tolls though. $12 is a decent 5670 on Ebay for your DAC.

Do you have a LOD you could bring? I'm looking for something to go from my 3G Nano to RSA Predator. The one I have is too thick and clumsy for on the go.

I'd really like to hear your recabled KSC-35s. I could bring my stock for a comparo.
