Wu Tang Vs The Beatles

A guy named Tom Caruana took Wu-Tang flows and put them over beats made with Beatles samples. Kind of interesting, free, and offered in lossless formats. Worth checking out IMO.

Censored Wu samples, WTF?

Well done technically. The concept is kinda cliche, especially considering that Danger Mouse's Grey Album had a tighter mix and more interesting conceptual basis.

& way too many self-referential beatles documentary samples

Ah, I didn't notice they were censored. I only listened to a few short parts before starting my download.

I can understand what you're saying in the latter part of your post though.
I'm still waiting for my download to complete, so I don't really have much to say of my own opinion yet.

Looks good, and lossless thats sick.

Some others if your interested (sorry not lossless lol)

White Stripes mixed with many artists - Adrian Champion Presents - Stars&Stripes (The White Stripes Reimagined) | MixtapeTorrent.com

Biggie & Jimi Hendrix - DJ Doc Rok - The Biggie Hendrix Experience | MixtapeTorrent.com

Micheal Jackson remixed over Hip Hop beats. Theres also another one done by Cookin Soul if you search - CR The Beast Presents - MJ3: Fade To Jack (The Re-Fix) | MixtapeTorrent.com

Theres a couple if you like, remember "Free For Promotional Use Only". I like blends it really shows off the talent of the DJ.

I definitely thought that you were going to be comparing the music of these two bands... I was worried.

You can't compare a fine red wine with a 25 year scotch.

Danger mouses grey album was epic. I'll probably check it out even if its half as good because I like catchy funky mash ups. Though censoring Wu lyrics is a bit lame. I heard a Beatles/Destiny Childs mush up years ago that was aweseome but I could never find the details of the mix afterward.

Click on 'download album' and you should get a window allowing you to choose between mp3 and 'audiophiles and nerds' formats (cute).

yeah, yesterday evening there wasn't a "download" link anymore...maybe they exceeded their daily quota...getting it as we speak anyway

I didn't realize FLAC was for nerds, I honestly thought that mp3 was for ipod retards...thanks for the tip!
