Damn I love the re0's, but 2 small complaints :) - Page 2

I have both the cloth and rubber versions, and the rubber one is tight, esp. compared to the cloth one.

I know the cloth version took some hits here, but it is great in cold weather because it remains pliable while the rubber one gets stiff (and by cold weather, I mean 0° F.)

Wow, I don't have any of the problems mentioned with my RE0's, cloth version.

Something's up.

edit: As far as imbalance, are you guys keeping the filters dry? If not, that is probably not helping.

when i get the re0, i can immediately hear the sound imbalance. the big lean to the right is so strong that even my friend who has hard time finding sound imbalance hears its so easily

No imbalance on my RE0's - I have over 80 hours on them now. And the slider isn't too tight for me, pretty easy to slide up and down the cord(s).

As for tips, I personally love the large bi-flange tips. Wish they weren't so damn expensive through Head-Direct.

I definitely recommend the Shure Olives. Also, I have begun to like the Comply 400's on it when listening to classical/jazz/oldies.

To each his own.
