Agreed. AT's seem hard to find in Canada.

Perhaps replacement ear pads for all the headphones you carry. they are very hard to come by. Ordering a pair of AKG K701 ear pad from U.S. would cost me more than $80 including shipping and other fees.

Grado pads! Flats, bowls, bagels!

What about the small things: speaker cable, banana connectors/pin connectors, optical cables, rca, etc?

Also: Grado 1/4" --> 1/8" adapters and 15' extension cables! And cheap!!!

I think the problems with amps is that to make any profit, you have to charge a lot more money than a US counterpart. Import duties, shipping, etc all do not favour Canadian vendors. I was looking for a darkvoice amp last year and saw how pricey there were to get here. I contacted the manufacturer who would have sold me about $5000 worth of amps, but for me to turn around and try and be competitive with Boyer, or any eBay vendor was basically impossible. So after figuring out the time it would consume to take orders and package and ship, it was not worth my while. I was not looking to make profit just to give Canadians accesss to similar products as Americans at a reasonable price.
Hopefully because you are much more of a complete business you can overcome this issue. AKG and Ultrasone and some of the other companies have exclusive distributors in Canada and do seem to like to share either.
I wish you guys the best of luck. Your banner ads are everywhere and I hope you are succesful!

Thanks Freakydrew

That's exactly why we are around.
I found the exact same thing when I was looking for good quality gear to import for personal use. Canadian Customers, Brokerage, Warranty are a big PITA...

If at all possible we will try to offer par with US pricing (means less margins) but hey its not fair that Canadians always get the shaft...

Thanks - Paul

Hey guys it would be AWESOME if you could get the Meelectronics M9. I was about to order these when I checked TheFinalCost.com - Canadian total shipping fees calculator (brokerage, duty, customs) (site to check total price of importing an item) and it turns out the $20 item will end up being $40!! I was thinking of ordering two of these but that's obviously not gonna happen!

Thanks!

You guys want Chinese mp3 players???

I didn't see that one coming...
We have a lot of good contacts in China so ANYTHING is possible..

All depends on demand =)

Like the Telcast...most of us have to order from MP4Nation or elsewhere, more of the mainstream brands though, like the Amp3 etc...you can barely find 'indie' or OEM brands here...BB and FS carries the mainstream stuff only. Not even Cowon.

TakeFiveAudio has that covered pretty well, but they could expand their selection. Prices are OK, a bit more than the states of course, but in CAD and no customs or expensive shipping makes up for it.
