More music like this... (world?)

So recently I've gotten into Swedish group, Taken By Trees' album inspired by a trip to Pakistan, called "East of Eden". It's an odd mix of the sunny Scandinavian electric pop and traditional Pakistani music. It has to be heard to understand. It's a very different sound to describe, at once foreign and unapproachable, while at the same time very modern and fresh.

Though something else entirely, try Ali Farka Toure. He plays a fusion of traditional Malinese music with Delta Blues. It's both familiar and exotic; you should love him.

You may try Susheela Raman (Carnatic-trained singer based in the UK), in particular the album Salt Rain, and perhaps the album Mraya by Algerian artist Abdel Ali Slimani

Or you may try some Yasmin Levy which is really beautiful, raw emotion in music, one may say.
