iPod 6th gen + Infiniti g37 -- Can I make sound quality better?

Kind of an odd question.. I want to know if there is a way to increase the sound quality of the iPod 6th gen for my car. The car hooks up via the bottom connector on the iPod. The infiniti has Burr Brown DAC which is hardly being leveraged since the iPod does the decoding. Is there any mods (external or internal) for the 6th gen to boost the sound quality?

95% of my music is flac/apple lossless

What kind of digital input does the G37 have?

Not sure what you are referring to but the ipod hooks up to the car audio console via an ipod-car connector that plugs into the bottom of the ipod (aka not a front aux jack)

You mentioned that the Infiniti has Burr-Brown DAC... to use it, I imagine the car would need some sort of digital input. Or does the Burr-Brown just handle the CD player?

The iPod is doing the decoding. So I guess the real question is how do I improve the sound quality of the iPod?

Hmm well if it's already using line out, I can't think of anything beyond an iMod. I don't think that a portable amp would help.

Hes asking if there are any other imputs into the stero besides the ipod doc plug. Such as coax or optical.
