WTB Sennheiser HD 540 Reference ear pads and replacement cable.

A Sennheiser replacement cable can be purchased off feeBay but I'd rather apply that amount of $ towards an upgraded cable.

I'd also be interested in salvage parts off of a HD 540.

Still haven't been able to find any replacement earpads. The UK supplier no longer carries them.

Any luck? I heard the HD 250s ear cushions will fit, but am hesitant to spent $40 to find out.

Contact Sennheiser service and suppor at 860 434 9190.  I just ordered a pair of ear cushions directly from Sennheiser for $40 including shipping.
