Fixing my Sennheiser EH150 cable

So i have had these for 5-6 years and last year the right channel died, i found em in a box and i want to see what i can do about fixing that.

What is the best way to figure out of its the driver or a cable problem?

Measure resistance on the plug between ground ring.
