I just made up some earrings out of sterling silver and military-surplus vacuum tubes. Getting the bases trimmed down without shattering them was quite difficult, but I think they turned out rather well (aside from my color-inaccurate photography, anyway. :P )

I, regrettably, do not have a significant other - I made them to sell at sci-fi conventions.

I'm glad people like them - I think I'll be making quite a few more.

Any chance you could possibly include hearing aid batteries to light the filaments? Talk about an eargasm.

They'd get drained REALLY fast. Also, I don't think the filaments in these light up very much, if at all.

Would be pretty nifty, though!
