sony x1060?

have had sony x1060 since it came out and I havn't been on these forums in so long.. just wondered if they are still the MUTTZZ NUTTZ? or is there somthing better now? thanks guys

No way. Still the best sounding PMP. I got the X1050 and the COWON S9 and I prefer the sound of the X1050. The sound of the COWON is very clean, but the X1050 gives a more enjoyable experience (while its very detailed and rich as well).

I've a Touch 2G and the X1060 - Touch just gets used for apps, video playback, and podcasts now

not that the Touch isn't good at music player

but the X sounds like you are carrying a mini cd player with you

There WAS something better when you bought the X, but you made the same choice I did : you bought a player you knew you could actually get instead of one that you would have to wait months for. The HiFiMan is reportedly as good as it gets - the problem is getting one, assuming you are prepared to fork over the cash.

Your X is as good as it gets out here in the real world.
