Hey head-fi I left awhile ago in order to save my wallet. I kinda forgot about my grado sr60's(originals!) and continued to use my sennheiser 202 (lol)

Well I just so happened to pull my grados out recently and was instantly rehooked!

Replaying my sr-60s with reversed bowls, I noticed alot of bass...
Something not normal equated with the sr60. Guess I reversed the bowls before they went in my desk(probably my worst idea ever)
I happily listening to my sr60's but I'm thinking I need a pair of closed cans for use at school.
Not looking to spend too much. I'd like to stay out of the need an amp realm.
Any ideas for $100ish?

On a side note... I forgot I really wanted allesandro ms-1's

But one grado is enough for now...(hell wouldn't wana end up buying ps-1000)

You can buy Shure SRH840 for 116.85 at Northern Sound & Light (email them for a quote). At least I was able to last week

So far they sound amazing, there are many posts at Head-Fi that discuss/compare their sound. They are pretty easily driven by an ipod, and don't seem to improve dramatically with amplification (udac or D10).
