SOLD: Marantz SA8001 SACD Player (Another price drop)

In my effort to slim down my home theater system and replace a broken universal player with a new unit, I'm offering this Marantz SA8001 for sale.


I purchased it used on Audiogon in late 2007 and it's been a wonderful source for both RedBook and SACD playback. You can read the reviews, most of which conclude that it is a great value that gives up little to the higher end players, with the benefit of a fairly good head amp built in.

Only issues are cosmetic, as shown below. Unfortunate tangle between my desk chair and headphone cable tipped and slid my CKKIII over part of the top and the upper edge and created the ding and scratches shown in the first pic, with my repair of the ding shown below. The scratches are more superficial than the picture show, they are surface only, not through to the metal. They would never show with the player in a rack. [Check my feedback here and on A'gon, and you will find that I am always brutally honest about the gear I sell!]





Original box and manual with OEM Marantz stereo, digital, and power cables included. Will email more pics if desired.
