Cowon D2/D2+ Line out mod?

I have one D2+ with a bad LCD but viewable. So I'd like to try out some hardware mod, if any exists. Like a line out maybe. Have this been attempted?.

Also how would iBasso D4, D2+, RE0 Sound?

Pardon if I sound like a total noob.

D2 only has headphone out. there is no line out for them.
