Windows 7 taskbar annoyance

I'm a bit annoyed with Windows 7's taskbar.

When I right click, I expect this menu:



but I am greeted with this menu when I right click:



and I have to hover over the taskbar icon, right click on the damn thumbnail, and then I can get what I want. Sure, I can just click on the little X's that pop up, but still, this is a multitasking nightmare.

Anyone have any experience with Windows 7 RTM? I'm still running the 7100 build and the "Disable thumbnail preview" fix doesn't work with 7100.

If you want the traditional context menu, hold shift while right clicking.
