The UN/Official Head-Fi Instant Messenger List?

I do apologize if this has been done before, but a quick search reveals nothing, so here we go. Oh, and this also may end up being a complete failure, but sometimes I like chatting about headphones, and this seems like a decent idea.

I think the best way to do it would be to keep the list running when you add yours, and put your messenger of choice and name by it.

Ex:

1st poster:
Quote:
smballer41 - Raez - AIM
2nd poster:
Quote:
smballer41 - AIM - Raez
GenericMSN - MSN - Random Dude
3rd poster:
Quote:
smballer41 - AIM - Raez
GenericMSN - MSN - Random Dude
HeadFier99 - AIM - John Smith
And so on and so forth.

Well, I suppose I'll start...

smballer41 - AIM - Raez

it should be all instant messengers imo (something like msn - blahblahrandomname@hotmail.com aim - etc etc).

People who want to share their IM addresses should just have it in their profile imo. This list is unnecessary.

true but this way should help keep a total odd random add be as confusing as it could be, nor do many (i think) actually check for the icons.

Bingo. That, and, I know many people do not. Also, I should mention, you shouldn't add your name to the list if you don't want to be contacted.

Hm ok I see your point now. But I won't have mine added since I figure if someone wants to talk to me that much they'll be able to find the thing below my name and add me.

Certainly a valid thought as well.

Maybe I should make this very clear:

This list is for people who want to chat about headphones, not necessarily a list for contacting a specific member.
