What you suggest ? I'm a budget audiophile. Ain't can't touch anything more expensive than PortaPro. Damn. I can sell my player and buy one wit equal price. Gigabeat t400, should I go trade for it ?

Get the PortaPros, keep your current player - you'll get the most cost effective benefit that way. Especially since the Sony S716 is better sounding than the Gigabeat t400 (I personally never listened to 1, but that's what most say - YMMV). I own a S639 and it's the best sounding player I own, and I won't sell the thing. I'll sell the others I own, but not me Sony!!!

I don't like porta much. Sound muddy and not clear. I prefer ksc75 though its cold and sharp treble ( too cold - and its winter !) I'm gonna trade it for some budget in-ear monitors (if wit ba trans is good, else dynamic ok).
