I have a motu 828mkI firewire interface I've been using in my studio for the last couple of years. I've just upgraded to a mKII. This is a firewire interface for a studio, but It has a very good dac. This unit not only have a firewire digital input, but it also has both optical and coaxial inputs and can be used with both macs and pcs. This unit also has 8 balanced inputs and 8 balanced outputs. All are true line outs. It also have a set of preamp balanced outputs. The preamp is very good. In addition, the unit also has a pretty decent headphone amp. I would recommended for phones up to 300ohms. This unit sold for 800.00 new. I'm asking 170.00 shipped and paypaled. I'm also open to offers. This is a very good price for a high quality balanced dac with multiple outputs.
