FS: Stax SRA-3S Modded, Single-Ended SOLD

This is in good shape, and modded. Bias is normal. The faceplate and part of the backplate are black plex. The photos should explain, but I will try to answer any questions. Note that this amp is single-ended, and some consider it superior to the much-drooled-over 12S. The only downside I know of is that the plug-in board must have the copper connectors cleaned once in a while - no gold plating here. E-mail me (lazshort@yahoo.com) or PM. $300 - trades considered.

Would you be able to ship this item to the UK?

Can you give me a little bit more detail as I'm unfamilar with the basic unit and can't therefore see what exactly the mod is?
