Okay, so here's what I'm currently thinking:

NE-6, PK3, RE-2.

I already have the G2A, and they are great portables, but they don't isolate.

That said, the NE-6 has the best isolation out of the 3 I have named, so they would make the most sense...I think.

Still looking for suggestions! Anything at all! Does not have to be headphones/iems.

Looking at the other equipment you already have, save the $50 until you get enough for something meaningful instead of having holes in your pockets, desperate to spend every penny as your money comes in.

Very few, if any, places will allow you to use gift cards and credit cards combined.

Like I said, it has to be under $50, saving up is not an option.

Just get the Yuin PK3s...
Since that is what you have in mind, and do not share any other hints with us.

Well, actually, I made my decision and am quite happy about it. I ended up getting my brother a pair of NuForce NE-6s as his late Christmas present.

Good decision, I have the NE-8's and they sound great. I will warn you though the isolation is 10x better with comply tips. The stock rubber tips do not isolate well at all.

Ah okay good to know. If the stock tips don't work for him, I'm sure he'd be willing to order the Complys.

This actually works out well for me too, because this way I get to decide if IEMs are a good thing for me or not, really. I had the IE8s but they didn't fit well. I didn't know if was just the IE8s or IEMs don't fit me well in general.

Sennheiser PX100. Best audio bargain for under $50. Portable, big bass, smooth midrange. Build quality fantastic. I've abused my for years and they're still going. Backpack phones!
