Ever notice how music seems more clear after you take a break? There are many here who play their music at low levels. These folks will not have the improvement from the break. People who have their music at concert levels may find a day long break will add a new level of performance to their system. This I have found to be true for myself. Do you think this is true?

Music also sounds better after sex for the men in the audience (provided your partner keeps it below 85dbA).

edit: I should have phrased that "men in the audience" thing a little better. I mean male head-fiers.

You're hearing shuts down somewhat with an hour or 2 exposure to loud noise. I'm not sure what it's called, but I have read about it. It doesn't have to be unsafe levels, so nothing permanent.

I agree, plus if you take breaks during long (3 hours or longer) listening sessions it helps as well.
