In the event that someone did not make careful measurements - such as myself - what would be the easiest way to make a hole smaller... I was making holes for my tube sockets to go into. I was reading the data sheet incorrectly and drilled a hole that's about 1/16" too big. Any ideas on how this can be fixed?

You could try using a plate of aluminum from the hardware store. You could cut the plate with a jigsaw to an appropriate size and either put it over or under the hole you made. Either can look good if you do it carefully. You could put the other tubes on plates, too, so it would be consistent. It might add some visual interest, too.

You can also use plastic bushings - but those are typically only useful if the tube socket is not mounted to the case.
