Am I the only one for whom USPS routing methods reach levels of absolute retardation? I had a package mailed to me on Tuesday (10/5) from City of Industry, CA, about 33 miles away from my location. Figured I'd get it today at the very latest. Imagine my surprise when, upon receiving no package today, I checked USPS tracking for it only to find my package at a Sacramento routing facility nearly 400 miles to the North.
Why, USPS, Why?
To illustrate the severity of the problem: A and C are the locations of the sender and myself, respectively. B is where the package is currently located, according to tracking.

. Customs are a bit different, though. This is domestic 1st class mail. I wasn't given a shipping option and even if I were I wouldn't request that the sender send a package to a destination 30mi away via UPS. I've had some poor experiences with FedEx express and DHL.
