Caution: Energizer e2 Titanium + Total Airhead = maybe bad results

If you are using Energizer e2 Titanium batteries with the TAH, and one day the amp starts to clip seriously all-of-a-sudden, it most probably is not the amp's fault. Change batteries to another type / brand. 'Nuff said.

Is this issue only related to the Titaniums? I recalled having a similar issue with E2 Lithium in a Total Bithead and never figured out why it started clipping and sounding weird.

Might be the entire e2 line. They're best for cameras 'n such, at a fluctuating drain rate. Amps don't drain that radically.
Imagine: Draining a normal alkaline would be going down a slope slowly. Draining an e2 is more like going straight... until the road ends abruptly with a cliff. Right now I got cheap Panasonic Evolta operating quite well. e2 costs quite a mint. Rechargeables are neither a slope nor a cliff...? Don't like rechargeables. Manuals don't recommend using them either.
