OMG .. What have i done?!?!

I bought the Sony e344 and a 4GB fuze - played around with both for 3 weeks ....

And i returned the fuze ..

So now im like ... OMG Did i make the right choice??

grrr... oh and price doesnt matter cause Tigerdirect is selling the 4GB refurb units for like ~45 ... which would be a steal... and i got the sony for 69.99 which is a steal ...

My impressions Breakdown (detailed review will come later when i feel like i have made the right choice):

Radio: E344 kicked Fuze in the ballz
SQ Flat: Fuze is king ... nothing comes close.. ALL HAIL FUZE
SQ Modified: No clear winner-both have their ups and downs tbh.
Expandable mem.: Fuze only- which is why im scared i made the wrong choice.
Interface: No clear winner, both have their merits.
Screen: E344 blows the fuze out of the waters- no competition
Glitches: The fuze froze up 3 times- E344 none .. we know who won that.
Battery: E344 wins easy
Design of unit: Sony is flashier, but the soft back of the Fuze makes the Fuze the winner by slight edge.
Volume/Power: Sony unit has more power than the fuze.
Voice/Fm recording: Fuze only winner- E344 cannot

Music-
Electronic music: E344 only cause the EQ allows the user to exploit it.
Rock/Country/Metal: Fuze the flat eq is simply too good.
Classical: Did not try
Pop: Even
Hip Hop RnB: Even- edge E344 due to bass boost/EQ

Which one i want to love ...?
Fuze because i wanna be one of the fanboys as well
Sony cause its the underdog

Anyways those are my impressions - in the end Fm quality and majority being electronic music was the deciding factor. But i still wonder if i should just purchase the 4GB fuze considering the expandable memory and excellent SQ.

But then i take only look at the sony screen and forget all my worries, put on some dance/trance music and live free. Until a rock song comes on and ... i wish i had the fuze .. Doh!

--Anyone else faced the similar dilemmas?? opinions? comments?

As i said i will have a slightly more detailed review coming.

you've A/B'd both players, you're obviously more than happy with the Sony, you've sent back the Fuze. Don't buy something just to be a fanboi, you obviously picked the Sony for good reasons, be happy with what you have and that you had the chance to test out both

Thanks for the vote of confidence guys - its been 2-3 days since i returned the fuze and i can honestly say i am pretty happy with the Sony

Although i do wonder how long it will take me to fill up 8GB i am trying to be selective of what i place on the player now. Just wish there were more people who would appreciate the new S and E series- although i can understand the lack of an SD slot is a significant let down in comparison to the Fuze.

Either way im quite happy thanks!
