cable supplies question

I wanna know what I would need to make the cable more practical and prettier in terms of the sleeves and the heatsrink. The practice cables I've made so far are just three separate wires that i braided together. My ultimate goal is to make a shorter cable for my AKG K240 with a cloth sleeves (if u understand what i mean)

Use the search feature. This has been answered countless times and might even have a sticky.

Monofilament (Techflex) is cheaper and a little easier to work with but isn't as flexible or nice looking as nylon multifilament. The Techflex expands but the multifilament does not. Get heatshrink in the sizes you need. It depends on the cable that you need.
