Pimeta question. (CRD?)

I've populated a Pimeta V 1.1 board, and I'm wondering about two (optional) diodes in the parts list called "CRD" (Current regulating diode) and "Current source configuration; CRD". What are these supposed to do, and where do they go?

I'm running this off a Tread and a 24V wallwart. The source will be an Alien DAC. (...As soon as i can build a working one.) This will be my "laptop sound survival box".

To be used instead of Q1/Q2, I'd just stick to the JFET cascode.

JFET Cascode has a higher impedance and better performance across frequencies. But also means lower voltage headroom and the need to match them.

CRDs are factory trimmed to 10%+/-. It's not exactly perfect, but saves the headache of matching. You can apply them directly. They are in fact, single trimmed JFETS running in saturation (IDSS)

Ahh, OK. I've populated Q1s and Q2s, so I'll just leave them, then.
