DAC cum AMP

Hey Richbass..... i was looking for posts on the beyer dt150 and the gmp 8.35d.....and spotted your post.   I was looking to get either the dt150 or the gmp 8.35d soon....primarily for studio use, but also general music listening, gaming and movies. I understand the dt150 will require an amp of some kind to get the best out of them.......where as the gmp 8.35d can run straight from my soundcard....other than that im confused as to which one is better suited to my needs.               I was wondering what experience you have had with both....and maybe some clues as to which one you think is best??       I'd be running them out of my soundblaster audigy 2 zs.....with or without an amp depending if I needed one..                any thoughts would be most helpful......thanks!
