MS1 Retermination (to balanced)

Is the cable a four condutor or three right before it enters the TRS plug? I want to potentially make them balanced, and would like to know this before I start cutting. If it is three conductor, then I may have to reconsider what I am doing.

on my MS1 it's got 4 wires. 2 blues for ground, red is left, white is right.

Grados use a four conductor cable. You can just reterminate your cable!

About the post above me: normally red is right and white is left. Are you sure about Grado swapping red and white?

Grado cups don't have a right/left, you can move the cup to either side of the headband.

True, but on every pair I've worked on the red wire has led to the driver installed on the left. So the rule of the day is to check your pair since you just never know.
