When he got close, I unlocked the door and stood behind it off to the side. I saw the kid put his face against the window to look around, then he came to the door and *click*, there was a bit of a pause, as if he wasn't sure what to do once he actually found one unlocked. The door opened very slowly, and when it was about a quarter open I gave a shout and kicked the door shut as hard as I could.

The kid shrieked as I sent him flying over the hedges.
Armaegis, that was an awesome story. Thanks for sharing it.

they could still catch you. do not underestimate the forensic abiltites of the authorities!
they have stuff at their disposal that you and i don't even know exists most likely!

anyways, this just an urban legend. no one would be that stupid. at least i hope not. the guy did a lot more crime than the guy that pulled out a knife, a misdemeanor in fact!

it is still funny as heck the way it is written. i think that was the whole point really.

Armaegis, I would have stood right in front of the door with a .45 pointed at his face. But that was funny as hell too.

Well yeah, but then I might have had to clean up an additional mess on the porch...

did you guys see that charles bronson movie where he rigs the board with the nails in it to pop up in the window? then the punk shows up and booom! with something like that you don't even need to be home! that is much better than an alarm or pitt bull imo!

Exactly. Not sure why this isn't blatantly obvious to people within reading the first two sentences of things like this?

That's scary.
As long as you have a Concealed Carry license sure, you can carry it on your body in a hip or shoulder holster. Exceptions being places like airports and government buildings. Even if you don't have a Carry license you can have a gun with you in your car but it must be kept in the trunk and can't be within reach of you. That's the law in both Texas and Georgia, as well as many other states.

Not really sure why that's so scary?

Yeah he "owned" himself being a poser scrub gangsta wannabe. Look at that guy. AK47 for home defense? Really?? Too funny.

If two wrongs don't make a right, I seriously doubt a dozen of them are going to make things much better. As if pulling the gun on the guy and making him leave his shoes, wallet and cell phone wasn't enough? Was all that revenge necessary?

My two cents: Poster is a ****** bag and as bad as, if not worse, than the mugger. That is, he would be... were he real.

Yes. Virginia also seems to be a bad place for this.

Well lets look into this, the following is from Wikipedia.

Quote:
The numbers of permit revocations are small. North Carolina reports only 0.2% of their 263,102 holders had their license revoked in the 10 years since they have adopted the law.[71] Florida, which has issued over 1,408,907 permits in twenty one years, has revoked 166 for a "crime after licensure involving a firearm," and fewer than 4,500 permits for any reason.[72] Those statistics concerning Florida revocations amount to 0.01%
