Its an impression of your ear, a reshell is making a custom fit earpiece to your ears. You can buy a kit and do it yourself, or go to an Audiologist.

Got too many yes answers. Audiologist appointment set up for Thursday. Going custom reshell for my TF10, they are also going to use my FiiO RC UE1 cable. My design, is going for solid black with a bright blue and white swirl, I want them to have the look of marble. Keeping my fingers crossed, should be shipping them out Friday.

When you fill out the order form you just write on it you are from the Headfi group buy. You can contact Kaysen and speak to her for more info,

don't know how it look or feel, but it is 30usd before shipping

I contacted them, and they told that shipping will cost 65$. How great is that...I am from Europe. No way I am spending that much. While others managed to ship tf10 with box & all accesories for 13$ from USA. Others charge 65$ for just 2 earpieces. Great respect for international users. Does anyone know other reshelling companies which are friendly to international customers?

If it indeed only cost $13 perhaps you can offer to send in a prepaid shipping label with your earpieces and impressions. Then they can just ship it back with your label.

He probably could ship it to them for cheaper but the problem is they want it insured so they don't get left holding the bag. That is where the price goes up. At leas when it comes to having tracking for international packages.

Yay! I got my custom IEM's back from InEarZ today. Before I

could get any of my earwax on them, I took a few photos for

you all:

First, is a set of Shure E500's with a black Fisher cable. The

color was supposed to be gold/black swirl, but it ended up being

an opaque gray with gold flakes. Let's just call it metallic root

beer. I went with a gecko for the free graphic.

I went with a single bore for this set.

Shure 2

Shure 3

Shure 4

I had a second remold done to a set of UE Triple-Fi's that I bought

during the Amazon gold box sale.  I went with a silver Fisher cable,

and I had a double bore sound tube done for this set.  The color

is light green with a opaque black face plate.  I went with the

same gecko graphic on this one, too.

I'll admit that I am somewhat underwhelmed by how the color

turned out for each set. However, the gecko graphic turned out pretty good,

although due to the small size of the graphic some of the gecko's detail

(bulgy eyes, triangular head shape, pads on its digits) were lost a bit -

nevertheless, InEarZ did a good job on it.

Physically, the shells turned out pretty much flawless - no bubbles or other

flaws, so I am impressed with InEarZ capabilities. Most important is that both

sets of IEM's fit in my ears absolutely perfectly and both sets function perfectly.

I am quite jazzed about the results and am going to spend a lot of time

comparing the two sets and listening to tons of music. This turned out to be a

great deal and a great experience.

I wish good luck to the other Head-Fi'ers who have elected to participate in the

group buy.
