I received mine back yesterday, both some TF10 remolds and some normal silicone earplugs for the shooting range or work (construction).
Overall I am very happy. The silicone plugs go in very easily and fit great. The IEM's are still a little tricky for me to get in & out of my ear. Since this is my first pair of IEM's I dont know what normal and whats not. Its a little painful to get them out...and I think it may be due to a rough edge on the inside of the canal piece that is scratching my ear some. But once I am able to get them in, they sounds really nice. Havent had time to fully test them out with some higher bit-rate audio but so far I am very happy with the sound.
That face plate looks fantastic. Do you know if they can do that in dark colours?
I dont think inearz keep their web updated with enough pictures of their work. Yours should be up as an example.
Yes, they did a great job with the wood. $25 is an absolute steal!!! 1964 Ears charges $100 for the same thing. I was able to get the wooden faceplates and the artwork done and the silicone plugs for $209. The same package from 1964 Ears would have been about $475.
I agree with the website. The wood sample picture they have are on their Facebook page. I just picked the sample I liked and printed up a photo of it to send in with my order.
I had actually requested for the logo you see there to be black only, not colored. Buy Kaysen said that they tried and the logo wasnt showing up at all. At first I was disappointed because it wasnt how I requested, but I have to say I really am happy with how it looks.
I've had my TF10s reshelled for a while, but I wanted to get wooden face plates too. Inearz took my request and I got them back today. They look great, I am very happy with them.
tannerbnd - what kind of cable have you use for remold tf10?
What kinda wood option is that?
Anyone know how much extra for shipping to Canada? Finally getting my TF10s reshelled, cable issues and finding a reasonable price for impressions pushed me over the decision ledge.
