What to build? DAC, amp, power supply? - Page 2

You absolutely, positively do NOT want to order from Mouser if you're in Canada. Order from Digikey.ca or you'll be waiting for long and expensive shipping with customs fees on top.

That doesn't seem to be the case:

FedEx/UPS - Incoterms: DDP with GST unpaid (Duty and customs fees paid by Mouser).
I couldn't find Digikey's shipping information.

Fedex is usually duty paid, and DDP means Delivered Duty Paid. UPS isn't usually, but Mouser says it is. I'd still have to buy $200 worth of parts to get free shipping though. Digikey doesn't specify who they ship by.

On the other hand, Mouser is $20 to ship by UPS/Fedex, and Digikey is $8.

Mouser and Digikey both pay duty on orders to Canada (as long as you specify the Canadian site).

Mouser is $20 shipping, they used to have USPS for $8, but when I ordered from them at X-mas that option had disappeared.

Digikey was $8 via UPS Worldwide saver with duty paid last I order (in September). They have always paid duty since I started ordering from them in early 2008. Shipments from Digikey have always arrived for me next business day to Toronto.
