As per topic, I am wonder if using RCA plugs is "better" than using 3.5mm plugs.
Since the RCA cables is dual mono, is it said to be "cleaner" than 3.5mm cables, which is single stereo ?? Since it seperates the channel cleanly... ?
Another question would be.
In the past, I always had this mindset that 6.3mm plugs are for headphone with high impedance, is it wrong to say that ?
And, other than the size, does using 3.5mm plug or 6.3mm plugs differs in terms of sonic performance ??
Thanks for opinion and answers, greatly apperciate for those who helped out
These few questions are always on my mind, and I am going to graduate from making IC/lod and start making headphone cables and docking stations with caps and rca out, so I am wonder if they make a difference.
Just sharing, my docking station would be having dock input, 3.5mm input, 3.5mm output, rca output, mini usb input/output. So I am also wondering if I just have both rca and 3.5mm input. My newest amp, the Audio track imAmp has rca and 3.5mm input, but I don't have the cables to try out the difference for now.
