Selling mine. Liked the ER4P/S more so off they go.

Time to save for a wedding ring.

I found that a proper seal is important with pretty much all my IEM's it's not just the Triple Fi, these are just so wierd to stick into my ears..

I tried experimenting with the tips provided but no luck so far... I want to get the Sony tips but they don't sell them in the BestBuy's here in Canada.

So true, and insertion angle also plays into it for me. And there will always be people that prefer one headphone over another, such as the TF10 vs. the ER4P/S. I prefer the TF10, although Ety's new dynamic that will be out soon sounds very very good!

I guess I am lucky I get a great seal with the TF10 and proper angle. I had my first experience with an IEM I just could not get a consistent seal with, the PR2. Bummer, as they did sound good for a few seconds, or when held in place.

So, today I have received the Sony hybrid tips and the cable Tom/Tstarn sent me, and these are my findings.

-the Pro cable is still different from the old Triple.fi Pro cable (pre Logitech). The older one looked more expensive, shinier, was harder, stiffer. In fact, I prefer this one as far as flexibility goes, but the other one was certainly more luxury and sturdier.
-The new Pro cable is more microphonic than the VI cable.
-To me, the Pro cable adds some "mid treble" compared to the VI cable, otherwise the spectrum is very similar.

The Sony hybrids:
-The hybrid tips are softer and way more comfortable than the big one flanged silicon tips that I have got used to when using the TFP.
-The hybrid tips don't collapse the soundstage to my ears, at least when using them with the TFP.
-Sound wise, the hybrids add some in the upper bass, lower midrange and mid-midrange: basically, vocals are indeed more forward (still not Etys in this regard), while the bass region tends to be muddier compared to the single flanged big silicon tips.

The Complys, among all this, are bassy in a similar way as the Sonys are, but to me put the midrange a bit back compared to the hybrids, and the highs are slightly darkened as well.
