How much music did you buy in '09

Out of curiosity I ran the stats on my Music Collector database to see how many CDs I added to my collection last year. 102. How many did you buy?

Guessing around 60-70 CDs. I did get three new headphone rigs this year, and one of the joys in getting new gear you love is in breaking out all the music you already have and listening to it like it's the first time. I'm satisfied with all my audio gear right now, so I'll probably be getting a lot more music this year.

Not much really! I think I bought 10 LPs and <15 CDs. I had to buy a new headphone rig, you see.

Something like 30-40 CDs.
The problem is that local record stores seldom have what I am looking for on the shelf. I am not all into popular (read: top 20 list) music, but more niche market stuff. So I often return empty handed.

About 100 CDs and about a dozen records. I cut back on the LPs and bought as many SACDs as I could - a lot of them are going out of print.

143 CDs, ~15% of them audiophile recordings (MFSL, DCC Gold, Audio Fidelity Gold, XRCDs). Considering I have about 330-340 CDs total at the moment, that's kinda scary for me.

bought from local stores, individual sellers and on-line sellers (amazon.com) more than 150 CDs and a dozen of SACDs .. received a dozen of LPs and a dozen of CDs (including 2 remastered Beatles albums) as gifts from friends here and abroad
