Starter Amp for Alessandro MS1's

Well as the title says I'm interested in getting my first ever headphone amp for my Alessandro MS1's. I listen to literally every type of music and am looking to spend at most $100. Doesn't matter to me if the amp is portable or not, I just am interested in the best quality possible for the money and for my headphones. Thanks

Any suggestions on a good amp to start out with?

I love the hotaudio RM-1 with mine. It has the TPA6120a2 chip in it and the warmth and clarity are fantastic with the MS-1s.

I suggest the Little Dot I+. I just ordered mine and supposedly they sound great together. Though it is a little over your budget.

you may want to try inexpensive FiiO E5 portable amp as it has bass boost ON/OFF switch and volume control to suit your taste

next step? i am waiting for upcoming FiiO E7 dac/amp as this too have bass boost control (and some more added features).. will see how it performs on my Grado/Alessandro headphones (ms1, sr325iS and HF-2) ... keep tuned-in as reviews and impressions will be posted here at Head-Fi for updates

If you have $100 to spend, don't waste it on a FiiO. Get the RM-1, trust me.
